Survival Today...it doesn't look like much of any real substance is being offered at this point in time.
EDC Forums, intellectual dead zone along with a couple other forums that are supposed to be survival based but are really, really lame in that regard. Picking through the camping section to get the Ozark Trails Wal-Mart brand matches isn't exactly conversation-worthy.
No time for nonsense.

The only good thing i ever found at EDC Forums was a member named M. Cantrell, who did an absolutely excellent job of modiying my SAK One-Hand Opener. It had tha eally stupid blade with the half serrations at the front of the blade. He ground them off and re-profiled the blade for me for a very reasonable price.
Other than that, I must have been warned a half a dozen times about essentially being non-PC when discussing Self Defense use for various items. I even got reprimanded for "talking back" to one of the Mods.
The place is nothing more than a low-rent version of the Usual Suspects forum. Their only purpose seems to be to promote the sales of a lot of overpriced shit from slected companies.
